Abundant Step Associates is led by Karen Roter Davis, a successful executive and advisor to new ventures.

Prior to Abundant Step Associates, Karen spent five and a half years at Google. In new business development, she drove strategic, incubation, and exploratory efforts with Google executive management, product and engineering teams. Karen led teams and managed reports instrumental in new product launches and high-growth in areas spanning advertising, geospatial, mobile, consumer electronics, renewable energy, and search.

Prior to this role, Karen worked in Google's legal department, where she managed internal operations for Google's IPO, created, maintained and improved processes for efficient, scalable deal management, and advised cross-functional teams (including executive management) on legal and business issues, such as new product and feature launches, technology and company acquisitions, and partnerships. Among other company awards, Karen earned a Founders' Award, the most prestigious at Google.

Prior to Google, Karen advised emerging technology companies as an attorney at Venture Law Group.

Karen holds an MBA/JD from Northwestern University and an AB from Princeton University.

Karen is a formal and informal advisor to several angel- and venture-backed companies.
